We did 2000 FUT grafts for her. She had been told to undergo 3000-4000 grafts by many clinics, that too by FUE alone. We hope you understand the fact that FUE gives us the option to cherry pick multi-hair grafts which means more number of hair per graft. FUT doesn’t give us this option.

So 2000 FUE grafts can even have close to 5000+ hair, while the same number of 2000 FUT grafts might give a patient just 3000 hair. That means the result of FUT & FUE should not be compared in terms of the number of grafts. And this also means the patient who has undergone FUT has more multi-hair grafts left in his or her donor bank for future use.

In 15 days post-op pictures, you can see the graft placement. Creating a hair line in a female patient is even more difficult as compared to males.
